Swedish House Mafia – Essential Selection – 17/02/2012

Taking over the infamous airwaves of Pete Tong's Essential Selection on BBC Radio 1 for a second time, Swedish House Mafia proved why they are described by many as the kings of European Progressive House. The Swede's all run their own independent record labels, Size, Axtone and Refune and they used their head honcho power's to deliver an insight into where they are going to go over the next year.

Opening with their forthcoming single Greyhound and including new anthem from group mate Steve Angello, Yeah, the Swedish maestro's took the show by it's ordinary styling and gave it a make-over. Calling upon the fresh new talents of Alesso and Madeon alongside Canadian Prog-whizz Deadmau5, they untamed the beast and brought a new meaning to Electronic Dance Music with this takeover.
