The world domination of Avicii in 2011 was incredible, we were so consumed with the releases from Avicii that we forgot about his alias, Tim Berg. Tim Bergling, his birht name, has released many popular tracks over the last year including the anthemic tune, Levels. He also remixed for the likes of Nadia Ali, Tiesto and Daft Punk.
Back in October 2010, a preview of this track was released in Sweden. Not until recently has Before The Night Is Through (Bad Things) been absent from Beatport's collection. Unlike the popular anthems we hear from Avicii, which usually feature complex melodies filled with layered synths and a booming kick, this latest release from Tim Berg is different. This follow up to Alcoholic is a much darker production, one which portrays the dark side of Tim Bergling. With short sampled vocals, and a consistent deep bass, this release on Joia Records is superb.
