For any young DJ/producer who gets an exclusive play on the world renowned, BBC Essential Mix, it's obvious they have a huge potential and a promising future. At 18 year's old, that's exactly the case with Australian-based producer John Walden (a.k.a Walden), his track Brightness has received support from the legendary Pete Tong.
His EP which is linked below, is sublime. Distance, his latest track, has a signature sound, which has an electrifying chorus, built up of superb melodies and riffs. Pete Tong said it himself, it seems nowadays the normal age for a DJ/producer is 17 or 18, and Walden is a prime example of how the young producers out there have a lot of talent waiting to be honed in. Keep an out for Walden in the future, he'll be a big one.
